Anna Stafford

Anna Stafford—violinist, producer, and composer—is a Los Angeles-based recording artist, session player, and music journalist who has recorded two albums with her own string quartet, Anna Stafford String Music. Her original compositions reflect elements of rock 'n' roll, grunge, heavy metal, Americana, and pastoral music. She has worked with such popular performing artists as Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, Fall Out Boy, and the Dixie Chicks. Her string production credits include five string-tribute CD projects on the Vitamin label. Stafford studied philosophy and theology at Gonzaga University, and received a master's degree in composition from Arizona State. Anna is currently touring with Yanni Voices and producing an all-girls' virtuoso classical/crossover act, "Rouge."
